This is the first Cosmic Dash comic inked by Kevin Hayman, who is currently inking the main series.
We first meet Spril in issue #3, and he made a very brief cameo during volume 2 in a panel. Spril is important because he represents a link to the realm of magic for the series. Yes, magic exists in this setting and is intensely regulated and secretive. Rogues are mages who exist outside of the major magical community, the Order of Mages.
