Not a great way to wake up: a hangover and the revelation of the murder of the royal family.
I was thinking about Furghar’s phrasing here, why he elects for “passed away” as opposed to “murdered.” I mean, it’s probably a result of a dictum from the dispatch, as it reads that the details should not be mentioned, but I also think maybe he’s struggling to come to terms with it.
Anyway, this is the first of the hopefully many, many glimpses of the Empire ahead.
